When you open final cut pro, make sure you make a NEW FOLDER for every project so you know your work in saved at all times.
To make a NEW FOLDER you first click on FILE then NEW PROJECT.
After you have followed the steps on step 2 ''system settings'' will come up.
Then you click on SET.
After you have clicked on SET a folder will come up so you look at the bottom of the screen and you will see ''New Folder''.
You must give your folder a ''NAME'' so you don't forget it.
Your folder still hasn't been created, you must click ''SET'' on all three of them.
When you click ''SET'' it will come up for you to find your folder you must do that and the click ''CHOOSE'' to save your settings.
