- Streaming: streaming media is multimedia that is constantly received by and presented to an end-user while being delivered by a streaming provider.
- File compression: compression is useful because it helps reduce the consumption of expensive resources, such as hard drive space to transmission bandwidth. On the downside, compressed data must be decompressed to be used and this extra processing may be detrimental to some applications.
- Aspect ratios: the aspect of shape is the ratio of its longer dimension to its shorter dimension. it may be applied to two characteristic dimensions of a three-dimensional shape, such as ratio of longest axis,or for symmetrical objects that are described by just two measurements, such as the length and diameter of a raid
- Frame rate: frame rates are the frequency at which an imaging device produces unique consecutive images called frames. the term applied equally well to computer graphics, video cameras, film camera, and motion capture systems. frame rate is most often expressed in frames per second (FPS), and is also expressed in progressive scan monitors hers(H)
