PAULS BOUTIQUE ADVERT
In this task we was asked to make an advert on any product. I was working in a group with Afsana. We first decided to do are advert on ERA HATS however are footage didn't come out really good, so we decided to change everything and do are advert on PAUL'S BOUTIQUE BAGS.
First we had people modeling the bags however we cut out the faces because we thought the audience will pay to much attention to them. Then at the end of the advert we had two pictures on the side with two girls holding Paul Boutique bags and in the middle we had a slogan saying PAULS BOUTIQUE. Are advert was only 17seconds as we didnt have enough time to film because as I said we changed are idea on the last day(we filmed and edited on the last day).
Are advert came out better then we thought because ME&AFSANA thought we wouldnt have enough time to even film but at the end we tried are hardest to get it finished and we was really happy that we finished.
we was mostly pleased that we changed are idea to Pauls Boutique Bags because the product is more popular are more interesting to the audience. Are target audience was females at any age, we tried to make are advert persuasive by filming different types of PAULS BOUTIQUE BAGS instead of only filming one bag and make it look boring.
I personally think that are advert wouldn't be successful is selling the product as are advert didn't have enough information and wasn't long enough for the audience to see what type of bags PAULS BOUTIQUE is selling even thou we filmed different types of bags.
I was mostly happy that we filmed different shots in a short amount of time, and we didn't only use one shot on the same product. I was also pleased that we go it finished because I was really worried that we wouldn't finish on time for the deadline.I wasn't happy with my advert for only one reason because it was too short thats what mostly let that product not to be sold.
I posted my advert on my blog and i received 14 comments, we got some good feedback such as different shots for a 17second advert, however we got comments that weren't that great but those comments are gonna make me improve my work next time.
NEXT TIME, Im going to think of ONE product i want to advertise and stick to it, not change my mind because it is really hard work filming and editing in the last minute. Im also gonna make sure I use a lot more footage to make my advert longer and make it more persuasive so people can buy the product.

Evlaution for prezi presentation (Livia's Work)
Unit 2 - communication skills for creative media production
We started of the unit by finding out information about mind maps on www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newISS_01.htm. After I read all the information on the website, I wrote a summary of key facts.
Then we had to go on www.skillset.org/careers/case_studies, and we had to choose one of the career profiles that appeals to us. As I was looking through the website I was trying to find a profile career that had to do with photography. the reason I was searching for this is because I want to work as a processional photographer when I finish university.
I finally found a profile career that had to do with photography ''Paul Graham''. I found out a lot of interesting information about ''PAUL GRAHAH'' and his passion for photography. I did a mind map about him and his passion for photography which also helped me find out more about him.
After all the interesting research, we had to do a presentation using a program that I have never used before ''PREZI''.
we had a choice to do are presentation on anything we wanted to as long as it was related to media. I choose to do my presentation on PHOTOGRAPHY. The reason I choose to do my presentation on photography is because I want to do photography as a career.
I found it really hard using prezi at the start however as I was working through it I found it really easy to use and now I would like to use it for often for my work.
The things I found really hard about Prezi is that I couldn't copy and paste pictures but I had to keep saving them and then adding them to the page.
http://prezi.com/
In my presentation about photography I included a lot of information such as
- Experience
- What photography requires
- why photography wouldn't exist without light
- Different kinds of photography
- photography business
- Salary
- How long photography has been around for
- Images

Overall evaluation
Throughout this six week course I have learnt a lot which had made me finish my work and also made me really proud of myself.
At the start of the course we did an introduction to the course as well as setting up our own blogs which I found easy because I already had one made. We also did glossary of terms which we had to give a short definition of some key words which I found a little bit hard because I had no idea about what the words meant so that also meant I had to search the words up on the internet. I thought searching the words on the internet was a good idea because I learnt what the words meant.
On the second week we had to start planning for are video which I found very exciting because it was my first video I was making and I really wanted to do well. As we were planning for are videos we also got to learn how to use the equipment which was really interesting and something new. I thought that it was a good idea for us to learn how to use the equipment before filming because I would of be more confident on knowing what to do.
One the third week we started filming and also was meant to be done filming however I didn’t meet the target because I missed a couple of lessons. I was really stressed out as I was thinking that I will never be able to finish on time. For me to complete my filming I had to come in to college in my spear time. I would have never been able to get my filming done by myself without Ayan and Afsana (my class mates). They also came in to college in there spear time to help my film which really made me confident that I was going to be finished on time. As we was still on week three we did two different mind maps on platform and applications which I completed and was very happy with both of them.
As third week was a very stressing week, we finally began editing in week four. For are editing we used ‘’final cut pro’’ which I found really difficult because I have never used a program like that. As I learnt how to edit I also stayed behind and edited at the library at college which was big mistake as I lost all my editing that I did. I had no other choose then to restart editing in my lessons. I had chance to finish editing in week four.
Week five was the most stressful week for me as I was trying to finish everything on time which I didn’t do. I was still editing on the last week and everything was just going wrong with my editing because I was still confused on how to use ‘’final cut pro’’. My audio was going wrong as I was trying to make it found very clear and also put it in the right places. As I was doing my editing I was also thinking about my over work that I had to do which wasn’t making my life easier for me to finish on time.
However on the last day of the unit, I put in so much effort in finishing of my editing. Which I did and I was so proud of myself for finishing off. I still had my evaluations to do which I did at home.
Overall, I am so proud of my progress I never thought I would be able to finish off but I am mostly proud that I didn’t give up. I thought the unit was really fun and enjoyable but I also thought It was really stressful but next time we have something similar to do I know that I am confident because I have did it before.
Evaluation on my Video Profile.
My video was about me and my passion for photography. I showed how much I love photography and what it really means to me. In my video I also spoke about my preferred photographer ''Terence Donovan''.
To be truthful I found the task hard at the start, but for the last 6week I have learnt a lot and I am really proud of myself for not giving up. I think my video was really upright however if I could redo it I would make it much better by making it longer and more exciting. The reason I am really happy with my video is because I presented who I am and what I really enjoy and I also shared my ideas of photography which made my video look more curious.
I also think the music I choose for my video was very catching and fitted in very well.
As my class mates watched my video they also wrote some comments they thought it was really good as I managed to show my passion for photography, however if I was to recover I should make it longer.
If I was to improve my video I would make my video more longer and also say something else about myself that is motivating or maybe something else that I enjoy doing. In some parts of my video as I am talking there is a lot of noise which I need to improve by going to quieter place. Overall I think my video was very good specifically for the first time.

- Glossary of terms
- Video formats: video formats are different layers of video transmission and storage each with its own set of formats to choose from for example, flash, windows media, real media and quick media.
- Streaming: streaming media is multimedia that is constantly received by and presented to an end-user while being delivered by a streaming provider.
- File compression: compression is useful because it helps reduce the consumption of expensive resources, such as hard drive space to transmission bandwidth. On the downside, compressed data must be decompressed to be used and this extra processing may be detrimental to some applications.
- Aspect ratios: the aspect of shape is the ratio of its longer dimension to its shorter dimension. it may be applied to two characteristic dimensions of a three-dimensional shape, such as ratio of longest axis,or for symmetrical objects that are described by just two measurements, such as the length and diameter of a raid
- Frame rate: frame rates are the frequency at which an imaging device produces unique consecutive images called frames. the term applied equally well to computer graphics, video cameras, film camera, and motion capture systems. frame rate is most often expressed in frames per second (FPS), and is also expressed in progressive scan monitors hers(H)
